The Scythe Samurai ZZ is a new top-flow CPU Cooler weighing only 495g (incl. Fan), and it is equipped with 3 u-shaped Copper-Heatpipes as well as a 92mm Fan. It is specified for cooling of CPUs with a TDP of up to 130W. By using the improved V.T.M.S mounting mechanism, the Samurai ZZ can be easily installed within a few minutes in all common sockets including the new socket LGA1156. New F.P.S technology uses the airflow for cooling of upper and lower heatsink structure as well as surrounding motherboard components and VRs. The Samurai ZZ is 94 x 122 x 94mm and weighs 472g, the fan is 92 x 92 x 25mm, has a noise level of 7.2 - 31.07dBA, an airflow of 6.7 - 55.55CFM and runs at 300 - 2500rpm (regulated via PWM).

The Samurai ZZ is compatible with Intel Socket 478, Socket T, LGA775, Socket LGA1156, Socket LGA1366 and AMD Socket 754, Socket 939, Socket AM2, Socket AM2+, Socket AM3, Socket 940.
